Eligibility Criteria

A bachelor’s degree holder from a recognized university is eligible. A diploma in (D.El.Ed.) or a (B.Ed.) degree is also necessary. Applicants need to clear CTET Paper-I. This certificate means this applicant is fit to teach the primary-level students. An 80-hour ICT certificate is also required. Candidates who are between 21 years of age upto 37 years can apply.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process

1. Written Examination

The education department of Chandigarh will prepare the selection on the basis of the written examination and the interview. The exam will be an offline MCQ-based exam. The exam paper will carry 150 multiple-choice questions. For every answer you get right, you score 1 mark, and for every answer you get wrong, one-fourth of a mark will be deducted.
