Selection Process

Exam Pattern:

The first exam is a preliminary exam. It contains 100 objective questions, which carry 200 marks, and the time duration is 2 hours. General knowledge and current affairs will be asked. 30% is the qualifying mark, but the cutoff is far higher. For the mains exam, the candidates will be called as per the ratio set at 20 times the number of vacancies.
- Mains Exam: Consists of two papers (both 2 hours each):

The second round is the main exam, and it is divided into two papers. Each paper has to be solved in 2 hours. In the exam pattern, Paper 1 is General Hindi, which contains 100 questions. Physical Test (PET):
This stage tests your fitness and stamina. You must qualify in all three events:
- Running:
- Male Candidates: The running speed is 6 km run to be completed in a maximum of 6 minutes and 30 seconds for male applicants.
- Female Candidates: A 1 km run to be completed in a maximum of 6 minutes is the running speed for females.
- High Jump:
- Male Candidates: Minimum 4 feet.
- Female Candidates: Minimum 3 feet.
- Long Jump:
- Male Candidates: Minimum 12 feet.
- Female Candidates: Minimum 9 feet.
- Shot Put (Gola Fek):
- Male Candidates: Throw a 16 lb shot to a minimum distance of 16 feet.
- Female Candidates: Throw a 12 lb shot to a minimum distance of 10 feet.
